Jacki Zehner is an enthusiastic and dedicated financial feminist. With a career in finance spanning more than three decades, she knows in her bones that the key to gender equity is financial equity. That’s why Jacki has dedicated much of her personal and professional life to the full spectrum of financial wellbeing for women and girls. From a gender lens investment thesis to the launch of a community to help women+ flourish, especially when it comes to their financial wellbeing, Jacki is, as she likes to say, ‘all-in’ when it comes to helping women+ become their own financial superheroes.

Jacki’s career in finance began at Goldman Sachs, where at the age of 32, she became the youngest woman and first female trader to make partner. After leaving Goldman in 2002, Jacki spent almost a decade absorbing as much as she could about the wealth management industry, before diving into philanthropy full force, serving on many women focused non-profit boards, giving through her family foundation, and co-founding a global philanthropic network called Women Moving Millions, through which members have collectively given over one billion dollars with a gender lens.

Today, Jacki has synthesized these experiences across finance and philanthropy into her own personal theory of change, which includes equipping women with three things:

Community through ShePlace, an online and in person network where women+ come together in a shared set of values to grow social capital.

Content centered on financial wellbeing for women+ through SheMoney, a newsletter and consultancy supporting women+ on their journey to financial freedom.

Capital through her investments in women+ led companies and VC funds. Jacki is committed to investing intentionally in companies and funds that are built by and for women, and to helping design new and better systems to elevate the field of gender-lens investing and create more equitable flows of capital.
